There are thousands of drum machines out there and even more sample libraries. Producers ask me all the time "Wolfman, you are a fucking badass, what libraries do you use?" I get this pretty often. And I used to keep my all my secrets but I've been feeling generous lately.
Frankly, I would recommend always using the hardware version of a machine if possible. But when is it ever possible to own this many drum machines?! Damn near every drum machine you can think of is on here including all the Rolands like the 909, 808 etc. And so far, the quality of the kits I have downloaded is untouched and authentic aka good (not compressed and effected). Another, eal cool thing about this site is there are some strange and hard to find kits on here. Circuit bent kits, modular kits and the classic Simmons drum sounds can be found on here mostly for free or for a small donation. Dig it!
